About These Photos

We are glad you are visiting our Gallery! These photo sare important, since they show WeatherEye in action and recognize students and teachers for their hard work.

This is a learning center and a new type of community. It is a gathering place for the best and brightest in education.

The teachers and students who are using the Internet are pioneers, leaders in education. That is why we are providing this site, to support the best in education.

These photos are just part of the effort to build this community. We also provide message forums and mailing lists, letting students connect with each other and allowing teachers to share ideas. Our chat sessions can link up classes across our area and the nation.

Why we don't add names.
We would love to be able to go a step further with these photos, by identifying the students and teachers by name and school. We decided, however, not to do this for safety reasons.

This site is one of the "safe harbors" on the Internet. We use passwords to protect students from outside influences. We monitor the site to be sure things are in order.

Identifying the subjects of our photos, however, would create a small, but real risk. For this reason, we have decided not to add any identification to the pages.
